Re: Can't find page to enter never miss programmes please help me !!!!
try the TV Show Tracker app. You can input what you watch and tick off episodes you've watched. It will let you know when the next episode is on but doesn't email you. You do have to check it.

Tried the TV Show app. Again must be geared for USA. Says for instance Series 09 of Mountain Men is currently showing on History Channel. Not here in the UK. Shame seemed a good app.
Need an app that is suitable for UK

Re: Can't find page to enter never miss programmes please help me !!!!
They appear when they are first broadcast, so if they are shown in the US first, they come up then.
Just realised it doesn't tell you when it starts in the UK. But it does for UK programmes.
I think I use it more to keep track of what I've watched rather than a reminder of what's on.
I'll be honest, I have no issues with my Series link working so once I've set it the new series reappears. Seems to appear after it first appears on the planner tho. Sometimes I'll spot a new series is starting and set it to record and then a duplicate series link will appear a day or so later.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss
I've created a list under Secure Notes in my Last Pass Password Manager. Seems to work for me. Yep agree Series link seems to be working OK although I've missed a couple and had to do a rapid catch up. Is the NEW SERIES under TV guide effective if you check it frequently??

Re: Epgservices sky never miss
Totally agree that this is very annoyon that it has been removed. I didn't only use it for new series. I used it for series that had been around for a little while, but I may have missed the first time around. I wanted it tolet me know when season 7 of something was available as I've watched up to the end of season 6 on box sets and season 8 is showing, but I want to watch season 7 before I watch season 8. Its pathetic that they remove something that was so useful and was of minimal effort for them.

I was wondering, what if we, the community users were to set up our own Never Miss on this forum? For example, I see that Das Boot S2 starts next week as does Agatha Raisin S3. We could have a NM thread on the What's On board that we all contribute to when we notice a new season is starting or a brand new show, giving details of what day & time it is on & the channel it will be on. We could ask one of the nice Sky moderators to pin it to the board for easy access.
I realise it will be us doing Sky's job for them & it won't be quite the same as the old NM, but it would be better than nothing. Would any of you be willing to contribute to this ( it isn't something I could do on my own like I did with the Box Sets thread btw )?
The Never Miss site is available now on the What's On board. After a bit of hassle over the naming of the thread, it has now been settled & is known as Never Miss 2.0. It has been permanently pinned to the board for easy access. Please feel free to get involved with it by adding any info that will help, but please refrain from adding general comments, thanks, or questions as we don't want it to be cluttered. If you have any questions then please start a new thread on the What's On board using the subject header Re: Never Miss 2.0 Thank you.

Re: Can't find page to enter never miss programmes please help me !!!!
So what is the alternative now?
I see for Sky Q customers they suggest thralling through the channels on the TV Guide page. Yes I know there is a search feature, but that's useless unless you know a series is returning.
There was nothing more I loved doing than going on a website which showed upcoming UK series and adding them to Never Miss. This way it didn't matter what channel they were on and I could be reminded when they eventually came up the on planner.
I could never understand why Sky didn't integrate this service. If anything I thought given current circumstances they would get rid of Sky VIP.
I think this shows that Sky only want their customers watching their own channels and On Demand. Don't get me wrong, I love boxsets but often other TV stations show classic sitcoms e.g. Channel 4 is currently showing all of Frasier and it is nice to know if something like this is coming up.
Cancelling the Never Miss service shows Sky have decided what their viewers should be watching not what their viewers want to watch.
And the result is we're all back to buying the Saturday newspaper for the TV Guide and going through it with our highlighter pens. Not exactly a step forward.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss
This is my third post on these Community discussion boards. I am a current Sky customer of 12 years standing. Prior to that I had a years absence following a house move but prior to that I also had Sky for an extended run of around 10 years. So a Sky TV customer for around 22 of the last 23 years. So my posting on here shows my strength of feeling, not only on the withdrawal of Never Miss but also of the fact that there is now no easy way to identify and record the programmes which I want to.
When I re-signed my Sky renewal it was on the basis of Never Miss or at the very least an equivalent. The 'Next Series' function on my Sky+ box has not worked for months. I am now forced into essentially 'grubbing around' trying to find the programmes that I want.
It seems to be becoming quite clear that Sky removed the Never Miss, without any consultation or notication because it was also essentially providing a service for subscribers to record other channels. Why didn't they consider running the Never Miss service for Sky channels only? This would have been a blow but at least more understandable that the current scandalous situation.
As I said in a previous post, I cancelled my direct debit as I believe they have breached the terms and conditions of the contract which I have with them. I wrote to them on 2nd June 2020, so one week ago but haven't had any response yet.
Disgusted.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss
Ok This is my point. Until I read your post I did NOT know the new season of Agatha Raisin was starting next week
That was definitely on my Never Miss. And just because it's not a great big hard hitting drama does not mean viewers don't want to be reminded.
I don't know if the equivalent of next series is on Sky Q for me but I know anyone with Sky+ says the functionality is limited to the series being picked up by the same channel for the next series.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss
Same here. I had a list built up over years and some series I'd love to watch again.
Under data protection, are we allowed to see our own lists?
