Engineer to install replacement Sky Dish cable

Hi,

I know that I will get charged for this, but my dog has bitten through the cable coming from the Sky Dish, and now our Signal Strength fluctuates between 40-70.

The cable was attached to the skirting board (so not to interfere with the VM Coax cable which also runs along the skirting.). We've had the flooring & skirting  replaced recently, but as I didn't have the correct size cable clips, I left it until I had chance to pop out and get the replacement clips, but the dog got there before me.

I have managed to put tape around the cable so I can get a picture, but I would like an engineer to visit and replace the cable and re-attach it to the skirting.

Thanks

@ShowLighting2003  You'll need to call Sky as you cannot arrange an engineer via a public forum.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@ShowLighting2003The best bet is to call Sky, although they can charge often they don't if they do it is about £65.

You could use an independent installer but it would probably cost more but you have more control of how the cable is routed etc.
