Sky bills will generate right up to the date you leave, with future bills they are just estimated so you should not be billed for them when you are no longer a customer.

@JNews91 I presume you cancelled by calling Sky?

@JNews91 Thanks. Just checking. We have on occasion customers who think they've cancelled in all sorts of ways.

When did you leave or when are you leaving Sky because if your services are still active at present then as I said billing continues as normal. Any overpayments when you leave will be paid back to you within 6 weeks or you are free to call up and Sky will issue the refund within 7 days.

  • If there turns out to be any credit on the closed account Sky will return it via your usual continual credit method (direct debit) within 6 weeks or if you call and ask in 3 to 5 working days.
Passing on the tips I have learned in over 25 years as a more than satisfied Sky customer.

As you haven't left bills will be created right up to the date you leave. So depending on what date you pay the bill each month you might see that either your last bill goes beyond that date or that it is created before it (this happens 14 days previously) and has to be paid after you leave. If this happens what I said earlier about get the overpayment back would apply.
