Early Days - I quite like it - will be even better when Sky sort the players out

We've had glass for 3 days - after 2.5 years with BT TV (before that we had Sky+ in our old house).  Coming from BT TV I like Glass - (even though delivery was delayed by 3 days - and Panther 's tracking a waste of time) the set up was very easy. Sound is fine for us - better than my OrbitSound One sound bar.  The UI is very like BT TV - so no big shocks for us.

BUT - Sky really, really need to sort out the various players (on which Glass relies heavily) - we have the ad forwarding. but all the players work differently, and have varying ways of fast forwarding.  On BT we just had to put up with the ads, but fast forwarding without a picture and no real idea of when it changes from the adverts to fowrading through the programme is annoying.

The ad skipping service is free for one year.  Then you will pay £5 per month for that ability.  I don't think it's that great either.
