I completed the software update before we have done a factory reset. Do you recommend the Factory reset? Does that wipe all recordings etc?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreYes, it will wipe all recordings. If you want to do a reset, do a Settings Reset. Go down to Settings but don't press Select. Instead type 0 0 1 Select to open the hidden menu. From there you can Reset Settings (you won't lose any recordings or preferences) which takes about 20 minutes. See if that helps.

Definitely do the factory reset on the mini box and then I think I did the software update after?
Checked the apps but and Mine then had barely any apps so did the app refresh and everything appeared and was finally able to log back into Disney

I done a full factory reset by going to settings and enter 0,0,1. Once this has been completed I had to switch the mini box off and on again to finish the reset. I then went to software version, reset and carried out a software update. Once this was completed Disney+ appeared in the Apps and I was able to log in as normal.
Hope that helps. This was only with the 1027 error.

Yeah google Disney+ and speak with them through message...it's easy and they respond straight away...mine took some time as I had bad internet connection and had to do about 3 different things....they said they have had a few people messaging them about the same issues so my advice will be contact Disney + and speak with them it will get sorted properly

Our agreement with Disney outlines that we should direct people to them when it comes to these types of error messages but we've reached out to Disney to see if there's anything we can do or help them with.
In the meantime, you're welcome to try some of the suggestions outlined such as the apps refresh, software update, and only if you're happy to wipe everything - a system reset.

I have error message 1027. Spent ages on the live chat with Disney yesterday who told me to get in contact with Sky for help!
I turned off sky and my router. I then did a software update via settings menu. Was still getting the error.
I've now opened the secret settings menu (turned box off and went straight to settings before pressing 001. I'm now trying app refresh.

Hi, @Kei+M @ have Sky and Disney worked out any jointfix yet for this error. I don't want to do a full factory reset. All my miniboxes sign in but not my main box

It's currently with Disney who are investigating and they'll provide us with an update afterward but we've found refreshing the apps appears to fix it for quite a few.

Thanks, I'd already tried this but tried again with no success. Guess I'm going to have to wait for the Disney update sadly.
