Default picture setting needs changing

I like have optimum display settings.that is the one thing missing in current display settings.

I feel the default setting is aimed at energy efficiency over display accuracy.  

If you're interested in saving electricity that should be an eco setting.   Out of the box the display should be set up for giving the best picture quality it can offer.   Ie with the back-light and all other settings at the most optimal options for viewing.

I managed to get a good enough setting by manually changing it but it doesn't always provide the same result when watching dark programmes or the room is unusually light.
