Hi guys. I change my sky broadband to another provider . I forgot to cancel my direct debit and they continue to take money from my personal account because it was a direct debit. Could you tell me if its any chance to get a refund for last month? Thank you

To move to Virgin you had to contact Sky and give the required notice of 14 days, but if you are still in the initial 18 months deal Sky could impose cancellation charges. This link may help https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-broadband
If you were changing to another provider who also uses the Openreach infrastructure then by joining up with them, they should contact Sky on your behalf.

Find out more@Ionelu if you switched to a provider on the Openreach network, as @Daniel0210 described, your Sky service should have been cancelled automatically and yes, you'll be entitled to a refund of any overpayment after the date your new service became active. The overpayment should be refunded automatically within 6 weeks or, if you call, you can request a manual refund in around 5 days.
