To seperate wifi bands:-

- Log onto router and go to wifi
- Go to 5ghz band and untick synchronise 2.4ghz and 5ghz
- Go to 5ghz ssid and add -5g at the end
- Save
- Go to individual devices and assign wifi band accordingly

You will now have two ssids. The old one is now 2.4 and the one ending -5g is 5. You will be using the 2.4 band so if setting the bulbs up with another wifi device make sure it is on the same ssid

Try a different browser ie chrome or ethernet a laptop  to the router. Safari doesn't play well with sky hubs
