Communal TV system in flat
Hi! My misses and I just started renting a flat and we've chosen SkyQ for our broadband and tv, I've spoken to the landlord and they said no to them having access to the communal dish as its on the roof or something along them lines. Is there anyway of getting it set up without the communal satellite or tv?

Re: Communal TV system in flat
Could we use a plug in adaptor? Or would they still need access to communal tv/satellite

As I understand it all they need is access to the distribution cupboard certain,y not the dish.

Re: Communal TV system in flat
Sky do not require access to the communal Integrated Reception System dish on the roof, but in order for a Sky Multiple Development Unit trained engineer to be able to fit a Unitron dCSS-422 Sky Q Plug-In adaptor they would require access to either the communal central distribution cabinet, or in larger IRS installations the local riser cabinet, where the communal IRS multiswitches that provide that IRS feed to your flat, reside.
Godfrey.
