Catch up

2 queries:

1) catch up - I cannot find a menu for catch up.  I assume that it is merged into on-demand?  Is that correct?  However, my husband watched Major Crimes but it is not on-demand and is not on catch up.  I have it on the play list which just shows what is on this week but it is not recording either.  Please help because my husband is driving me mad.  I need to find out how we no longer have the catch up facility for everything like we had before and why it does not record alibi when I have it set to record it so he can at least watch ongoing episodes. 

2) New episodes recorded show up on the play reel but move you the right and off it as more programmes record.  Then it is hard to find new recordings, at least with Sky Q programmes with newly recorded episodes we're at the top off your recordings.  Is there going to be this option for viewing your playlist built into a future update because I record loads (watch all my tv from recordings) and the current playlist drives me mad.

@ribenatina Sky Glass is very different from Sky Q as does not have a dedicated catch up service unless the broadcaster offers a catch up app. The easiest way to get to items is by using search where you will find what episodes of Major Crimes are due to be broadcast by Alibi and you can add the series to the Playlist. 

The rail beside the Playlist it is not the Playlist itself which is opened by clicking on its tile. Thecrail is Sky's rather poor Play Now list which sometimes gets what you might want to watch right but often doesnt unfortunately.

If, as you say, most of your TV viewing is from recordings then Sky Glass may not be the best system for you. 
It does not record in the same sense as Sky Q. With Glass you are at the mercy of channels providing the content via their own streaming app or with Sky's cloud recording facility which is yet to prove its reliability.

If you had Sky Q before then the easiest solution to your problems is to ask Sky to revert you back to it as there is no quick fix for the issues you are experiencing on Glass.

Thank you. Unfortunately the Major Crimes doesn't even record. It can only be watched as is playing.
