Did you actually recieve the TV and set it up? If so, it's good to see they've put you back on the same deal.
Nope. Managed to cancel prior to delivery.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreSuspect that's key to keeping your Q discounts. Once you activate Glass, your old Q subscription is gone.
Something to bear in mind for anyone wavering but thinking "I'll see what it's like"

@oj01 I think Sky will have to do something either to improve Glass or entice me back to Q. I was tied into an 18 month contract (yes with discounts) - if I send Glass back - they get a used bit of kit and I'm contract free...This would be bonkers business.

Yesterday, I was quite happy to see through any bugs, as I had done previously with Q when it was first realeased and hope Sky patched any minor glitches. However, realising that Glass isn't quite the innovation that Sky were portraying, I will be cancelling my order tomorrow. I'm disappointed as I really thought this could be a games changer, but instead, I will save myself £34 per month for the TV and keep my Q discounts in place.
If Sky can iron out the recording issues and not have to rely on apps or incomplete suggestions, I might just come back to Glass, but for now, I will stick with what I have got.

You tube review after watching I cancel my order the bugs it's got definitely a no no

I wouldn't even say they were bugs on that video, just poor design.

I've cancelled too. Took four phone calls and an advisor telling me the recording record to the cloud, all illegal sports streams are delayed, skys aren't and it doesn't use iPlayer and third party apps for them to cancel, but got there in the end. Still half showing on app but got an email and panther tracking says cancelled.

I had thought this too....an easy way to tear up your contract, order, cancel and move on.🤔

I too have now reluctantly cancelled my order. I had been tooing and frowing over the past few days having read through the reviews.. i was willing to give it a go as new things are never perfect.
However, getting the delivery cancelled this morning swayed me to give up... for now. The people at Sky were wonderful and understanding... feel sorry for them at the moment... I did get my Q discounts re-applied and upgraded to Ultrafast - so there was a silver lining.
Perhaps, I'll be back again in 6 months time when hopefully the 'bugs' have been ironed out. In the meantime I'll keep following these threads as it's a great community and full of wonderful advice and opinions 😀

Just cancelled my order which was due to arrive on Sunday. Was in two minds whether to cancel this morning due to issues with the playlist but my decision was finally made when I read the reports of pixel issues.

Unfortunately I have had to cancel. The negatives outweigh the postitives. I took delivery last night and after two hours I was convinced it was ok. A downgrade from Q/with OLED, but for my purpose it was ok, moving to an inside wall within my living room. But the terrestrial TV is just not great. Quality is poor on 65", don't get me started on playlist, and then it uses APPS for ondemand. No thanks. But the killer for me was DSE (Dirty Screen Effect). The Pucks are alsoWhen you have a bright white screen or watching football, you can see it on the QLED. I don't have this issue with OLED, and now it's on the SKY Glass. Ouch... No thanks. There is a good opportunity here, and I am always positive and give stuff a good trial. So my recommendation is that if you are happy with your setup and don't really need this, I would leave it just now. It's good if you are new to SKY or can't have a dish.

When cancelling your Glass, did Sky mention how quick your previous Sky Q will be reinstated?
22 Oct 2021 01:59 PM
Me too after 21 years with Sky.
Such a shame.
The ironic thing is I never priced up the alternatives until the SkyGlass debarcle.
I did so this morning and now pay £22.21 per month through HD apps and Apple TV.
It's goodbye Sky.
Had Skyglass delivered Tuesday, cancelled it today.

SKY Glass was cancelled instantly, with pick up of equipment on 1st of November. I am waiting on them calling back to reinstate sky Q, and don't know if that will be the same package yet. They were having some issues as one needs to be cancelled fully down before the other can commence. In the meantime I have lost all packages and am just left with freeview on SKY Q and SKY GLASS 🙂 Even Netflix doesn't work anymore...
