Hi! Set up my Glass ans Puck yesterday and I'm pleased with them - they are what I wanted.
However, there is a problem with the Glass and another with the Puck.
The Glass is buzzing from the bottom middle to bottom right speakers with some lower frequencies. About 70% of the time it's not there, then with the certain frequency, it's there - about 30% of the time. It is a familiar sound and is almost certainly due to a faulty speaker.
The picture on the Puck sometimes slows down briefly and then speeds up back to where it should be - total of maybe 3 seconds in total each time. Happens about every 5 to 10 minutes on Sky Channels (so not the problem referred to in the settings with Apps, although switching to the fix for that in the settings has no effect). I have fast BT fibre to the door (a measured 50Mb at the Ethernet connection into the Puck).
I will be contacting Sky, but would appreciate in[ut from a Forum Moderator/Sky Employee as I noticed in a similar post in this 'Board' a customer was contacted directly as a result of posting.
I'm posting for others who have either of these problems so that they can report here to to build a picture of things that Sky need to work on.
Thanks in advance 😊

What about me? It's my question!
Anyway, I'll ring up and see what can be done.
Despite all this, I think Sky Glass is great.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreHi @Coolcoopers I have escalated your second post as tge first got over looked sorry - had to unmark it as the answer to do that. Sky should invite you onto a chat through the foorum tomorrow where a blue button appears and stays open for 48 hours.
Buzzing speakers sounds like you may need a replacement TV unfortunately as thst shouldn't happen. The issue with streaming sometimes slipping and catching up is a live issue it seems to vary between channels I find the BBC live channels are the worse but iPlayer is fine. Sky are aware of the problem and hopefully it should get fixed..
Hope this helps.

I also have an issue with buzzing from just off center of the soundbar. Only had the glass a couple of weeks and was fine at first but now really annoying buzzing. Do i need to call up to get it repaired/replaced??

I have the same issue. Had Glass since mid-October - however I really noticed the buzzing over Christmas, particularly with Atmos content. I contacted Sky who arranged a replacement which arrived last week. This replacement is a lot better but there IS still buzzing on some frequencies and also seems to come from the bottom right - will see how things go but may need another replacement set

I have exactly the same happening with my Glass TV

Yup, another here with the buzzing sub/speaker! I think it's a housing issue rather than speaker issue. Really shoddy quality control clearly.
I've turned off the TV speakers and use a sound bar but considering I bought the TV to do away with the sound bar, I knida feel a bit peeved!
I've had the TV right from the off so not sure they'd change it now but then, I'd also be concerned I'd end up with a non buzzing speaker but bad picture as it seems nany have had!!
