Are the sky Christmas scenes ok for playing on plasma TVs, I'm worried about screen burn.my plasma is probably 10yrs old.

I'd be cautious about allowing any static image to be displayed for more than a few minutes.

Thanks. Yes , I'm hard of hearing and need subtitles and there is a darkened bar across the screen where the words would be from burn..it's not bothersome as the subs are always on anyway. But I wondered if sky did a thing where the pixels move slightly as not to burn with the Christmas scenes .the tv is fantastic quality..I don't have it on much. But will buy LED next time 🤔😉

You should buy a new TV now. Given the rise in energy costs, that plasma TV is costing you alot to run. Plasma TVs are very energy inefficient.

Yes . I don't even use it ..maybe once a month if that ..I waste more money paying for Sky and a BBC tv license .lol . I thought maybe I'd use the Christmas scene .Ho Ho Ho.

Based on the response, maybe change to an LED TV, you might think about switching to Sky Glass.
