App

Absolutely rubbish, nothing suitable for a 50-60 generation, I hate cartoons, my partner is a hgv driver of 69 years of age, and he hates children's programs.   after paying £80 a month on sky I would hope a better reward system would be available, eg points, like Tesco or Morrison's.   After paying this continuous for over year I am now on the point  of cancelling and going to Netflix's and bbc iPlayer. Cinema rewards and show awards are no good just a good old discount in the bill would,be become handy lol

Re: App

You could try calling Sky to negotiate your package price, or remove channels you don't watch to reduce your payments.

It's your perogative to leave if you don't think it's worth it. (provided you're not under contract of course).

If you don't find Sky to be value for momey, and if you're unable to reduce your subscription costs to make it value for money, I agree the obvious thing to do is cancel. Uncertain rewards and awards shouldn't come into it.

That would be great, and I've been raising it regularly as a concept since the VIP scheme was created (say 0.5% discount for each year of subscription to a cap of 20%) but it's apparently very unlikely to happen.

@TimmyBGood

I like the sound of that idea, something I wish they would introduce 🙂
