Access to Premiershiprugby.com

Does anyone know if there are currently DNS server issues at Sky or whether Sky are blocking Premiershiprugby.com? I can access this website through my phone's 4G or other Wi-Fi but non of my devices can get to this website through my Sky broadband. I've tried deleting the DNS cache, still no luck.

As a test, try changing your Sky Broadband Shield settings;

To change your Sky Broadband Shield age rating;

  1. Sign in to Sky Broadband Shield.
  2. Choose PG, 13 or 18 then Save settings.

Alternatively, to switch off Sky Broadband Shield (we don't recommend keeping this off);

  1. Sign in to Sky Broadband Shield.
  2. Select Disable Shield then Save settings (can take 15 mins to apply)

@Ian147Have you tried to change the DNS setting on the device in question. Was able to get to that site using other DNS settings than Sky's own.

Re: Access to Premiershiprugby.com

Thanks for the suggestion. I really thought that would work, but I've changed DNS to cloud flare's 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 but premiershiprugby.com will still not load. I deleted all the old cache as well. Really strange as everything else is fine and I can access it through my work VPN so the website is working.

@Ian147  The only other thing it could be is your IP has been blacklisted. Have you tried to leave the router off for a short period of time and then re-start it to gain a new public IP?

Re: Access to Premiershiprugby.com

Thank you. Disabling the shield worked. I know rugby can be a bit violent at times but I'm not sure why Sky are blocking this site. My original shield settings were not overly restrictive.

@Ian147

Sometimes sites can be miscategorised or untagged which often gets them blocked by Sky shield.
