Hi can you explain call to 0845 " 5p a minute " for 17min 50 secs. costs £9:00

0845 625 . Calls cost 5p per minute

Hi thanks for answer but would like a message from SKY employee to explain issue. But @ present SKY are not taking calls about billing !!!! .

They are taking calls, but the trick is not to say billing when asked why you are calling but on here you still haven't said what your question is, your title says "call from" and your first post says "call to" ?

So we are saying 15p per min times 18 mins =£2:70 SKY charge

call to 0845 625 = 18 mins @5P min = 90 pence

Total £3:60

Sky charged me £9:00

Sky classed 0845 625 as a Premium number .Its actually a Covid/ME  helpline

Does not workout ?

Although i had assistane from members ,no staff from SKY "billing " have even made contact with me.

Hi @CrazyJock  as this is mainly a customer to customer forum with no account access (even the sky staff) no one from sky will contact you, you will have to call them on 150 from your phone.

@CrazyJock - Calls to premium rate service numbers (e.g. 084, 087, 09 numbers & 118) - These have an access charge & a service charge, so thats why the call in question is so expensive.

Just a tip for future reference. If you need to call a premium rate number go to - https://www.saynoto0870.com/ - Here you can convert the number into a regular landline number.

Thanks 63johnw but as mentioned earlier they are not accepting calls to billing !!! .You mentioned to avoid billing can you recommend another option . cheers again for assist

All you can do is to dial 150, ignore the covid message and question, stay on the line and when asked why you are calling say Mobile.

So is not a Premium ,SKY have designated this as a Premium number .

@CrazyJock - Another option when it comes to premium rate numbers, you can put a spend cap on your SIM to stop any unwanted charges.
