renewal loyalty

Good morning,

So it is time for my renewal, I rang Sky, absolutely no offers, my renewal quote is £30.50 but if I was a new customer it would be £27.99, am I eligible for this offer No!

I rang  and they thank me for being a diamond Sky member( 18 years) but no offers forthcoming, loyalty just doesn't count with Sky.

I apologise for the comments but I feel totally let down by Sky.

@fireret1978First off welcome to the forum. You are not talking to Sky, but we are just like yourself other customers who try best to direct others to the help they need.

When is your minimum contract due up for renewal?

If someone has helped give them Like.

I would imagine £30.50 is indeed an 'offer', rather than the list price which is likely to be considerably higher. If you think it's worth holding out for a better offer, give Sky another call, otherwise you may find better offers are forthcoming if you give notice to cancel.

It sounds like you were indeed offered some sort of discount as even just the basic Signature pack is £32 a month without offer. So whilst it might not be a huge saving, £30.50 is still a discounted price.

If it's for Broadband, our Essentials Broadband is £35 a month with no offers, so again, still a discount.

Without knowing your full subscription, it's hard to make any judgement on the offers you were provided, but with either of the TV or BB packages on the most basic pack, you are still being given a discounted rate.  It might not be as low as you would like, As mentioned by @Mark39  it might be best to go down the route of discussing canceling with our retentions team who might be able to find other offers for you as a retentions tool.

Thanks

Re: renewal loyalty

Firstly I had to login with a new username due to complications with my account following a new deal with Sky. My original message name was fireret1978.

Just to say many thanks for the advice,I rang Sky back and managed to get a good deal including Sky stream.

regards

Bob
