phone line and chat keep disconnecting

Hi,

 

I am trying to downgrade my sky  sub package. The chat keeps failing and the landline call to 0818....... keeps hanging up on me. How do I cancel Sky cinema when the customer support channels are down?

We've not heard anything about customer service lines being down. Probably just busy as the ROI Customer Services are closed over a weekend.

 

To remove a part of your TV package you need to contact Sky Ireland giving the standard 31 days notice. If you have 'in contract' discounts you may not be able to remove them. Also make sure cancellation of a certain add-on doesn’t cancel another part of a discount.

You may be able to remove it via this link which includes a message option (usually available between 9am & 7.30pm) or by calling in using the number that should appear once any flag is changed to that of the ROI,

So in other words, your problem deal with it.

 

Why can't you allow selection of products online or via email?

Unfortunately Sky do not currently offer this.  (But that may change in the future)

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

Understood. 

 

Given the service fee a working customer service contact should be the minimum provided by the company.

 

I will keep ringing until the line gets through.
