overcharged

I renewed my sky contract 1 day before my old one was set to expire on 24th September , I asked for HD to be excluded in the new cotract along with the removal of Neflix.  They sent me a contract which correctly excludes both and my monthly bill should be 50 something pound a month exculding the one off addirioal 10 fee for renewing the contract. However today  I have been charged £98. I would like a refund as the error is with sky I shouldn't be forced to pay for something I asked to be removed.

Cancellation of HD etc will have required a 31 day notice period. Perhaps check future bills to see if the payments are as you expected.

Re: overcharged

Interesting as I had already given them notice in August to cancel all tv services which they would have done if  I had not renewed, so if anything they should only be chaging me for 1 day. It would also have been nice for them to mention that as I was only made aware of the admin fee . All future bills include HD and I have no idea why as it is not in the new contract I was sent.

You might want to check this with Sky by speaking to them about it if this is incorrect.
