messed up system

for 3 months running i paid my bill in advance and the system still helps itself to my bank account and takes money from it.

i cancelled the direct debit but somehowit convinced my bank to pay them , despite there was nothing owed.

why is sky being so devious and money grabbing. i want to cancel the service because i am now in overdraft with charges pending.

Manual payments are unnecessary. The T's and C's you’ve agreed to state you should have a direct debit or continuous card payment method set up meaning you don’t need to make a manual payment (unless your services have been restricted).

Why are you doing this when there is no need to as Sky terms and conditions state that they will take the payment automatically from the details you have provided so you do not need to make manual payments like this.

Do you now see a credit on your account and if so do you want it refunded as we can rrange some help for you via Sky's messaging team if you do.

@Robert_david Sky's accounting system apparently isn't designed to work in the way you want it to.

The simple way to avoid this is to not make manual payments at all. Just let Sky's system work, the way it's designed to by taking payment automatically on the due date.

You can change your payment date if the money's leaving your account at an awkward time.
