early termination fees

Hello,

I am planning to move to another country and will no longer be able to use Sky’s services at my current address.

Given that I am relocating abroad and cannot transfer the service, is it reasonable to expect that my contract can be ended without early termination charges?

Thank you and when do i need to inform Sky?

That will be Skys decision. You need to give sufficient notice, and depending on what you're cancelling (if successful), allow time for return packaging to arrive and for you to post any loaned equipment back. Keep proof of posting it indefinitely.

Essentially no, because the discounted monthly subscription price you benefited from was calculated to return a profit when paid over the whole of the minimum contract term.  For broadband in particular, ISPs pay a substantial upfront cost to the wholesale network provider to provision a circuit.
