Re: due a refund

I am assuming I overpaid? as I left sky 10~ months ago but was only informed now, that I have a credit on my account that they want to give me. I assume they will not include interest on this, god forbid they give me what's mine 🙄

@wrecked
Refunds after cancelling should only take about 6 weeks from your last day of connection but posts suggest it’s taking longer but not 10 months.

We can help get it refunded within 3-5 working days via the Community Messaging Team on here if you wish. Let us know on this thread if you want to do that.

If however your payment method has been cancelled Sky will either have to reinstate your payment method or manually raise a cheque via a back office team and post it to you so that will take much longer.

Before we can escalate it to Sky please confirm in your reply that it’s still showing as a credit on your Sky account and if the payment method is still active.

Re: due a refund

yes it is still showing as a credit on my account and I have no idea why they waited this long to tell me/didn't just give it to me before. I don't know if they still have my payment method on file as most aspects of the account seem to have nothing there as I'm obviously no longer with sky for so long.

@wrecked
I’ve escalated your post to Sky and their Community Messaging Team should make contact with you later.

Look out for a post on this thread from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread periodically.

@wrecked

You should have heard something by now. Would you like it re-escalating or are you going to call Customer Services?

Re: due a refund

yes please can you resend the referral please?

this is exactly what I was saying where it's impossible to get hold of anyone.. if I owed them money they'd be on me all hours of the day ... as soon as they owe money, takes literally almost a year to get it sorted 😮💨🤦‍♀️

I don't blame you Daniel, you have been very nice, thank you
