Why is my bill so high?

I was paying £25.00 broadband + £29.00 for TV basic package.

it has now gone up to £37.00 for TV ! + £62.00 for SKY didgital! Nearly £100,.00 per month)

I cannot understand why it has increased so much, I have not had any communication from Sky advising me of the "vast" increase ! As I am on a DD. You just take the amount without any explinstion !

how can I resolve this ,I think you have made an accountancy mistake and needs a refund + adjusting to the correct amount?

Typically that would be the end of an initial two year discounted minimum contract term.

If you are new to the forum or this is your first post then welcome to the Community, which is predominantly made up of Sky customers helping other Sky customers. You aren’t talking to Sky by posting here.

There’s the inevitable annual price increase in April in the UK, otherwise an increase usually means your discounts are ending. Sky will have told you the date a discount was ending when you took it out so once it has ended you’ll be paying full price. Perhaps compare the latest bill with previous ones to see where it differs.

If your discounted minimum term has ended or is ending soon the best new discounts are still normally obtained by contacting Sky and negotiating and/or amending your package which will require a new 24 month minimum term contract.

Significant discounts are harder to get these days so if you’re offered something acceptable be prepared to agree to it there and then because if you decide to think about it the same offer is likely to be unavailable when you call back. Also remember you’re not a new Sky customer so don’t expect anything on a par to a new customer deal.

See this link…

If you decide it’s no longer value for money and you’re thinking of changing providers remember that at the end of their minimum term you'll be in the same position with that company at which point you'll be able to return to Sky and benefit from the new customer discounts available at that particular time.

@MikeJan73 while it maybe too late for you now, I'd suggest becoming familiar with your bills in the  online account/ mysky.

Looking at past bills you should be able to see your discounts and contract end dates.

Best of luck
