Why is it so hard to get a good deal?
I'm moving house and not allowed a sky dish so I'm having to switch to stream.
I have a basket reference I just rang up to talk about but the guy on the phone said I'd be better with Sky glass and he'd throw in a free puck as I said the glass tv is smaller and worse than mine.
we get to the end and I say it sounds like a good deal can you save it and I'll think it through, he then says it's a phone only offer and if I call back later the exact same deal could be £5 more.
Does Sky want my money or not? Why do I have to barter for a deal and it's only valid until the guy on the phone hangs up? How is it fair that someone can get the exact same package I'm getting but pay more for it because they called in the afternoon and I called in the morning.

Yup, deals can only be available during the call - calling back later may not see it reoffered.
But don't be pushed into Glass if you have a decent TV already...

The first puck is 'free' anyway, and you'll be paying the additional Whole Home subscription supplement monthly for the privilege of using it. Why accept a television set you don't really want in return for such an offer?

There's absolutely no requirement for such incentives to be 'fair'.
