@Chib  Discounts ending?  Have you checked what discounts where on your bills?   As discounts are only for a set period nd not the lifetime of your service with Sky you'll need to negotiate a new deal.

Nothing highlighted on the bill at all! Not up for renewal. Only had it a short time before going up...

This would suggest previous discounts have ended during those months, you would also need to factor in the annual price raise that took place in April.
