The call appears to be legit from the new 0800 number, but I have hearing problems at the moment so phone xalls are an issue. Why can't they just email me.

Please don't try to post the full number ~ it would be removed.
As customers we don't know why Sky are calling you - if it is really Sky. May be Sky Protect operated by Domestic and General Insurance.

That would make sense. The number matches the one in this article https://www.sky.com/help/articles/received-call-from-08007nnnnnn (replaced last digits just in case).
