Why am I being charged an extra £7.23 to my bill?

I got a new contract nearly 1/2 weeks ago. I've only just activated my sim. I looked on my bill and it's charging me an extra 7.23. And I'm confused to why?

Your first bill covers a longer period than the usual 4 months so have you looked at the dates it covers as it should cover the period from the date the sim was activated to the billing date plus the next 4 weeks.

@ChloeLucas  Have you looked at your bill to see what the charge is for?  It's likely it's covering a part period when you took out the contract as you pay monthly in advance.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
