When can I renew my contract?

My contract is due for renewal on Sept 9th 2024.  My current price is £76 and Sky want to increase it to £110 on renewal!!  Just spent 20 minutes on the phone and I was offered £102 for 24 months with a £20 admin fee!!  Still an absolute no from me.   Same package for new customers is £90 (which is still too much).

When can I renew my contract and expect realistic prices?

Typically the best time to try is within the last 31 days of your current minimum term however i doubt you will get much better offers than what was offered.

If a new customers package is £90 then realistically you aren't going to get much less than the £100 offered.

You may get a better deal if you cancel but be prepared to move to a new customer deal elsewhere.

@Voyager...

Most, if not all providers do this now. From recent posts on here it does seem that decent deals are increasingly hard to find. If you choose to leave the same will happen at the end of your discounted deal with whoever you go with. Once you've been away for 18 months you'll be able to rejoin Sky if you wish and benefit from new customer discounts.

Definitely wait until you are in the final 30 days. That's the point at which you can ask to be put through to the Cancellations team, which is where you're likely to get the best offer. As others have said, though, the very good deals seem harder to come by now.
