Welcome back team in India
Just been contacted by Welcome Back team in Mumbai. Deal seems ok but they wanted my direct debit bank details. Which I refused to give. Can anyone confirm they are the real deal and not a scam.

Re: Welcome back team in India
@AGC2 If you have left Sky then it is possible you were called by the Winback team, and to setup a new account they would need your direct debit details.

Re: Welcome back team in India
@AGC2 Genuine or not I would ask do I want or need to go back to Sky? If I did want to go back, I would be looking online.
Further, my modus operandi is that I do not agree cold calls contracts or deals from any company whether knocking at my front door, via telephone or being approached on the street.
Have I missed on fantastic deals?
Possibly, but I don't care.
The last telephone cold call I received, the caller abruptly hung up when I declared "...I have lots of money so not interested in saving it!"
Now TV Sports + Entertainment + Cinema + Ultra Boost @ £33 pm
2 x FTTP lines: Digi £15 pm 900/900 & Aquiss £36pm 80/20
Connected in dual WAN to 3 x Asus XT9 mesh & 2 x Asus RT-AC58U
65" Samsung S92C OLED TV
6 other streaming TVs

100% and I'd include a (not) favourite of mine, supermarket pop-up stands. BT especially are very aggressive around here and the local Morrisons let them set up in a choke point as you're leaving. I've happily used the trolley to shift them out of the way and given I'm over 6 foot tall and don't smile back at them it works a treat 🙂 Every so often they come cold calling, "We're from BT/EE and we're not here to sell you anything, we're just doing a survey on how happy you are with your broadband?" I'd rather chat with the occasional Jehovah's witnesses.
Edit: just remembered I had a cold call possibly from Sky telling me they had a fantastic deal on Sky Glass just last week, I laughed out loud and told him I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. Oddly they didn't call back. Sorry Sky if that was you.
