Re: Want cheaper contract
No, but anyone can negotiate pricing with Sky (providing you're not already 'in contract').

Re: Want cheaper contract
If you’re no longer in a discounted minimum term, or its ending soon the best new discounts are normally acquired by calling Sky and negotiating or potentially amending your package which will now require a 24 month minimum term contract. Sky are not obliged to offer you another discount, and recent posts on here indicate that significant discounts are now harder to come by. If you’re offered something acceptable be prepared to agree to it there and then because if you decide to think about it the offer may no longer be available when you call back.

Re: Want cheaper contract
@Janger There is no automatic reduction for people on pension credit as pay tv is a luxury not a necessity, you would also need to call Sky to negotiate any deals, something which the community can't help with.
You can call on 150 from a Sky Talk Line or Sky Mobile.
If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:
(UK) https://www.sky.com/help/home Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number
(ROI) on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.
Stay on the line and don’t hang up if prompted to. Apparently the quieter times to ring are just after 7am or about 9pm.

Re: Want cheaper contract
Any new offers will most likely come with a new 24 month contract during which the discount is fixed but the price isn't due to the anual price increase in April.
