VAT
Can anyone advise me whether SKY has removed VAT from the new price rises? I live in the Channel Islands which is zero rated for VAT and therefore should be removed from my monthly subscription.

Re: VAT
I would think that you would need to ring sky to find out about that or ask a family member or friend who have sky on the island if they know if they have v a t on their bill or not

Re: VAT
From memory this has come up before, and it appeared that because Sky count their digital services (rather than goods) as being provided from the mainland they don't offer a VAT-free option.

Re: VAT
Many thanks for the reply. I've not got the bottom of this yet but when I rang Accounts to renew my contract I received a small discount from the stated price rises. No explanation given but gratefully received. May be they took the VAT off or maybe it was just a coincidence.

Re: VAT
I would imagine that was just the usual discount given for agreeing a new contract for 12/18/24 months, rather than anything to do with VAT.
