Understanding the bill

Hi guys,

Not my bill but my elderly father's. I usually get a call off of him every so often regarding his Sky billl 😁

This is where he's at:

What can he get rid of right now? - he's on an economy drive today. What even is the 'Ultimate TV Pack'  or the 'Netflix Boost' - he says he doesn't remember signing up to them... they don't appear on my Signature/Multiroom subscription.

Basically he just wants all the normal Sky chaNnels and Multiroom.

Thanks.

Dose he watch the Netflix app ?  I got them on my bill,  but I watch Netflix and it cheaper at the moment though Sky because I get a discount than paying Netflix directly. But if you father dose not use that app, you can get rid of both of those, The ultimate tv pack is just another name for Netflix standard with ads and Sky have give him what called boost to Netflix programming without ads. Though he in contract till nov 2027, if he received his April price increase email or letter he can cancel those without a termination fee within 30 days of receiving by ringing the phone number on the email or letter

Re: Understanding the bill

Thanks! Nah, to be honest, he rarely watches anything on Netflix.

To clarify though, from what you're saying, the Ultimate TV pack is in essence Netflix with Ads (nothing else?) and the Boost is Netflix without the Ads? - if he decides to keep Netflix, he can definitely live with the Ads 😃

He's had the price rise email, that's what prompted this post to be fair. I'll get to him to call and cancel the Boost tomorrow and possibly even the Ultimate Pack if he thinks he doesn't need Netflix. And he won't lose anything else?

From what I understand the ultimate pack is only Netflix with ads, to be honest I don't know why  just don't just call it that on the bill. Any way if phones sky may be he could clarify it with them  before he cancels just to be sure. The other thing I not sure about if cancelling the ultimate pack will make any difference in getting the new stuff that coming in march i.e Disney and HBO max, Like your father I ultimate to.pack and boost and thinking of cancelling with sky and going direct as it would be slightly cheaper for me but not if will stop me getting HBO max.

As clarified several times on here, all Sky Q customers with Signature or Ultimate will get the Disney, HBO, Hayu bundle.
