Unable to alter email address - error message

The email I use for logging into my sky app needs changing but it keeps failing when I try. I have had to change all my details as my normal email has appeared on the dark web (according to my Norton). Due to receiving oodles of spam everyday now I thought it best to change everything. The main account email for billing etc. is fine and I'm leaving that as is, but the username one is the one I need to alter. I enter all the relly details, hit 'confirm' but each time it says 'error, try again' I made sure that the emails matched. I tried a different email address, still no joy. Thank you.

The username you use to login into your Sky account can not be changed as it is linked to your Sky ID. As it is being used here just as a username it wouldn't need changing anyway even though you are having these issues with your email account,
