I have been trying since June 2nd to cancel sky. I was told it would be cancelled 3rd June, but no email and no confirmation except in the chat window, so I contacted a few weeks later and was told the account was not cancelled but would be now due to some technical difficulty.
Now, 47 days later, I contacted them again, and I went through phone call and messaging - phone call was disconnected and they never rang back. The messaging said I had not cancelled, and that they would cancel from today.
I must have spent over 3 hours talking to numerous people - who still try and sell me additional products each time.
I asked to speak to Supervisors, I asked for addresses I could write to - and got no answer.
I think eventually today, I have received a cancel email - but they still want me to pay up to today.
Customer service is absolutely terrible. I have the complete transcript - and have been seriously stressed out by this whole incident. What can I do to ensure they dont charge me for the period which I consider to have cancelled in.

Billing continues right up to the day you leave and can cover a period after you have left so if that should happen the credit that will be on your account can then be refunded back to you and help can be arranged for you via here.
