Switching over and billing
I am currently switching over to sky and have an engineer booked to come out on the 3rd of July but app states I will be charged from 29th of May? I am confused as to what is going and can't seem to speak to a human from sky

Re: Switching over and billing
What services are you having?
If it's Stream then you are charged after 21 days automatically (You don't need an engineer for this).

What is the engineer coming out for? Is it for broadband ? If so and you are also having Sky stream TV that part is self install and dose a engineer, If that is the case you Sky stream puck will be sent out possably long before you Sky broadband is due to be connected. In that case you Sky billing starts on the date you have said. If you all ready have broadband from an exsisting suppler and you your to Sky road and is just transfer you can use your exsisting broadband to connect you Sky stream service. If you don't actully have broadband till July, I suggest you get on to sky to delay sending out tv pack till nearer the date of your broadband connection. To speak to a human connect to the automated syststem answer it questions but ignore what it says, it it will possably send you link, again ignore it,it will the ask you "is that all " or words to that effect, you say "no". It will then ask you if you are the account holder abd then you will be put though to a human customer service advisor,
