Suspended broadband

not paying a bill for three months I paid £41 but our account is saying we have been suspended. We have no Wi-Fi or service going through our house

Restrictions to services occur due to missed payments, they are automatically applied and agents cannot override the process, even if you’re told otherwise.

Sky won’t reinstate restricted services until the arrears have been paid and you’ve also set up a new continuous payment method. Until then any calls to Sky will only prompt you to pay.

If your payment is 2+ weeks overdue you will have to pay the next bill as well and if you’re in arrears for 56+ days Sky can fully terminate your subscription (but you’ll still owe the arrears). So not paying for three months has probably triggered this.

@KariRanson If you have'nt paid for 3 months then its highly likely that your account has been cancelled,  in the unlikely case that it hasn't it would take the whole outstanding balance to be paid in full before restrictions are lifted(£41 would seem very low for 3 months service).

Was this £41 enough to cover what you owed and if it was have you also setup your payment details again ?
