I've recently had an email from sky saying they owe me £76 with the heading "Let's make it right" for sky sports that was meant to be free. Has anyone else had anything similar? Is it real?
thanks in advance

It is real and can be trusted.
It is related to refunds for Sky Sports HD which may have been charged when it shouldn't.

It's quite possible a company - like Sky - have overcharged you. As you pay by direct debit in such cases you don't really have to do anything. They'll either give a refund of the amount owed directly to your account or give you credit off your bill.
The only time to be suspicious would be if the email asked you click on a link to sign in to your account - don't!!!! You should only ever sign in from a browser window you've opened yourself.
(Reputable emails will even say "we'll never ask for your details or for you sign in from an email " or words to that effect.)

I got the same email on Wednesday. If you login to MySky and check your messages from Sky, you'll see it there too.

We have had the same type of email. But never received the pin. But the thing is we are still with sky, so why not repay the amount through that instead of this payit?
