Still paying for broadband

Changed broadband provider on 15feb but my next bill march to April is still charging me for broadband.thought you pay in advance anyway

Ok. Your next bill should generate a credit for the pro rata period after cessation.

Bills are generated 14 days before payment date (which will include the month in advance even under notice)

 

But more importantly have you had confirmation of.cancellation from Sky?

Sorry your leaving us email.new provider contacted sky even returned sky equipment

What date is your billing date because as said above the billing will continue as normal so it is possible that depending on what the date was that you were billed on each month that the bill could have been created when you were still a Sky Broadband customer, if this is the case it will need to be paid before the overpayment should then appear as a credit that can then be refunded to you, help of which can be arranged via here to speed up this process.

You are going to have to call Sky so they can check that the broadband switch was done correctly by your new supplier and if it wasn't you will need to let them know what date the changeover occurred.
