I would like to know why I'm paying £128  to sky when my account was closed in January

How did you cancel? Did you receive an email acknowledging the cancellation? When did the notice period finish as bills are generated 14 days before your payment date?

@What2 you're billed as normal throughout your 31 days notice period. So any bill generated up to the date in January that your account was closed will still be due. Bills are generated 2 weeks before your normal payment date.

 

Sky will, of course, refund any overpayment from the date your services ended.
