SkyHD put on account without permission

Yesterday I was upgraded to skyQ, and asked if I wanted a better deal on my broadband. 

When I checked my future bills I found I had been put on SkyHD ,this was done without asking my permission and not even mentioned during the broadband conversation.

This is unfair selling,  especially to an oap watching my budget. 

I have made a complaint asking this to be removed and taken off my account.

Are Sky trying to do a Rachel Reeves and rob the pensioners. 

Anyone else had this problem?

If you didn't want the HD package then you have done the right thing by complaining about this so what have they said when you did this ?

Have replied but there is still the charges for SkyHd on my bill.7

As this appears to have happened since yesterday you will need to give them longer to look into this. If you spoke to Sky about upgrading to Sky Q yesterday then they will need to listen to what was said to you and that isn't going to happen on the next day.

Got email yesterday, request been carried out .

As it was sky's fault money should be taken off Februarys account immediately. 

Looking at other complaints this seems to be a regular occurrence,  adding extras without permission.

Maybe we should get in touch with Martin Lewis.

Yes I have had the same problem.  Sky Sports and Sky Cinema have been added without my permission.  Cannot cancel it online so now have to phone them.

Are you sure nobody in your household has added them

 

or

 

have they been offered free for a month by an engineer after a recent visit?
