I have been with sky for a long time but the monthly subscription now is too high. What can you do to reduce this amount?

We can't do nothing for you via here as we are customers like you so what you need to do is to call Sky and discuss this with them to see if they will offer you a discount. If they do it will come with a 18 month contract meaning you will be unable to cancel during this term.
