Sky refusing to honour there contract .

Having refused their new contract price I went with virgin only to have sky's retention/ win back team who offered my a price matched contract if I cancelled my virgin install. I decided to stay with sky only to have the price match challenged, fortunately I record all my phone calls . 3 managers have agreed that I was offered a price for staying and therefore must uphold the verbal agreement, but weeks on and still no new contract and I'm have to pay an increased price while waiting. Should the ombudsman be involved in my case.

No, not at this stage. You need to go through the complaints process first. Sky have 8 weeks to resolve it or a deadlock letter being issued.
