Sky refund

I Cancellwd my sky services for tv and broadband and have a credit of £19 sat on my account. I also did a device swap uograde on my mobile for which i was advised i would get a credit for. I spoke twice to someone on the phone. I was left a voicemail stating to call to claim my refund totalling £60. I did this and was advised it would be sorted. I got a text message stating my refund would be processes and nothing has been actioned. I cancelled 3 months ago and had the text and conversations regarding this about 5 weeks ago!

@Waz

You will perhaps need to call again about the credit for the mobile.

Sticking with the credit after leaving Sky TV & Broadband these refunds after cancelling a subscription should normally take about 6 weeks from the last day of connection, but posts on here suggest it’s taking longer ~ Note: (additionally what would have been the next payment date has to have passed).

We can potentially help you get it refunded within 3-5 WORKING days via staff from the Community Messaging Team on here. Let us know on this thread if you want to do that.

Before we can escalate it to Sky please confirm that:
▪️the credit is still showing on your Sky account,
▪️what would have been the next payment date has passed and,
▪️your payment method is still active.

If you’ve already cancelled your payment method Sky can either reinstate it, or get a back office team to raise a cheque to post to you but that obviously takes a lot longer.

Re: Sky refund

Hi yes please. The refund is showing on my final bill. An additional payment period has passed and my payment method is still active.

@Waz

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.

This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears by typing it it to start the chat:

https://community.sky.com/t5/Did-you-know/Escalating-a-post-to-a-Sky-expert/ba-p/3711147

When the chat bubble does appear you will need to respond to it as soon as you can or it will be closed if there is no response within 48 hours. To start the conversation just type in it.
This isn't a live chat so replies may not be instant.
