Sky online renewal and payment amendment

Hi, an elderley relative died in the last few weeks and she had sky telephone and broadband, which I had helped her set up. This was in her name and payment from her bank account. Her husband wants to keep the landline phone but doesn't need broadband. I've been helping him to look for an alternative but it seems as though he's stuck with broadband for now, probably due to the copper lines changing to voip next year.

 

We did the online chat together and got Sky to amend the name on the account to his, but we can't manage to renew the subscription online - the link keeps taking us to a Sky Glass page, or amend the payment details - this gives us an error message.

 

The renewal is 5th November. Does Sky do a lesser broadband package as I can only see the 75mps one online?

 

As I can only visit him after work, this is too late for us to call Sky so have to try chat instead and this is impossible to get past the chat bot. He's 84 and not tech savvy at all, his wife had an ipad so used the internet but he won't ever use it.

 

Hoping someone can suggest how to proceed, it's so frustrating at the moment!!
