Sky mobile bill

I paid the outstanding balance on my iPad on 19/06but the usually monthly direct debt payment was still collected today and the account is in credit - why is this if I have cleared the money owed? There is no SIM card etc in use?

It has to be asked why you are making manual payments when you have a direct debit setup as your bill will be taken automatically via it each month.

The credit should be used against your next bill or it can be refunded if you like as that can be arranged via here by Skys messaging team who will contact you via a private message on here so let us know if you want this refunded by them ?

Re: Sky mobile bill

Good evening,

I do not have a pay monthly SIM card, instead it is a monthly payment for a device only, which I decided to pay off in full, as it seemed to indicate I could and I had the funds to do so.

The account is showing as in credit, but the £31 monthly DD was still collected.

In this instance, I would rather my money be refunded back to me.

Is your account now showing that the device has been paid off and that going forward you no longer owe anything ?

No, I paid £217 on 19/06/2024 - the DD for June had been collected on 01/06 for £31.

looking back at June now, it shows the 2 credits, but is saying my account only £186 in credit (my overpayment minus the monthly bill, but surely it should be £217 still!?)

in July the monthly DD was collected on 01/07, the account is now showing as £155 in credit, seemingly the DD amount has been deducted from my credit again!?

it seems they've accepted the overpayment, credited it to the account, but it's being ignored and rather than my account staying in credit by the amount paid, the DD are being  collected and then being deducted from it!?

I've attached screenshots of the June and July bills.

I would rather have my £217 refunded to me now.
