Sky increasing my TV and sports package in August

Why are sky increasing my TV and sports package in August only 4 months after the last price hike. How much money do you need. This is ridiculous twice in 4months.

@Stephende

Could be the annual price increase which is normally in April but for some customers (including myself) for some reason it's July/August time. Perhaps it's to spread out the price increases so they aren't all being applied on the same date so did the price go up in April as normal?

The other reason for an increase will be that discounts may be ending very soon. Sky will have told you the date the discount was ending when you took it out. You could compare a previous bill to your latest bill and see where the amounts differ
www.sky.com/bill.

If your discounts are ending you will need to contact Sky nearer the time to try to negotiate a new deal or potentially amend your package which will require another 18 month minimum term contract. Sky are not obliged to offer you another discount so if you’re offered something acceptable you need to agree to it there and then because if you decide to think about it the offer may no longer be available when you call back.

You can either call Sky or use the following link

@Stephende

Perhaps you can type that paragraph again.

Have you called Sky to ask them?

I could be wrong, but if you took the service out in March as you are implying, then typically the annual rise price for new contracts at that time was deferred by a few months, so therefore the August rise would be your deferrred annual price increase.
