Sky hike by %50
Hi I have been a sky customer for 18 years since 1st sattalight went up and we got a 2 year contract at £60 but with 1 year left it's hiked our contract up to £90 and they sent the price increase to us at 1.30 am so we missed it and I now have terminal cancer but they say I will have to pay an early cancellation fee if I want to cancel it's a horrible company you cannot trust as they offer no help and use people with an accent you can't understand

Re: Sky hike by %50
Sorry to hear your diagnosis but it's not Skys fault if you missed seeing the email or letter.
For over a month Sky have been sending out emails and letters to customers regarding the April 2026 annual price increase.
Once yours has arrived it contains a number to call if you wish to cancel certain Sky services penalty free.. You then only have just 30 days to call after receiving the notification.
Leaving penalty free (no early termination charges) only applies to Sky+, Sky Q, and Broadband/Talk subscriptions.
