This comes up quite a bit but earlier posts are no longer around it seems but yes people have won some of these big competitions but the thing to note is most people that do probably don't post on here about it,

I'd suggest it's vanishingly unlikely that a company on the scale of Sky would risk the reputational damage of being found to run bogus promotional competitions, the cost of which in prizes is negligible compared to revenue.

Millions of 'VIPs' are eligible for ballots that have a bare handful of tickets available. Even if a Premiership stadium was filled only with Sky subscribers the odds would still be incredibly small.

Ask Sky for a refund for the cost of VIP membership.

Anyone think sky should be detailing competition winners names , I understand a company the size of sky probably wouldn't take chances in not actually selecting winners for each competition but it also seems that for some reason they don't list the lucky winners which means it looks like it could be one of those situations where it might be blatant that their not and this is why they don't share the names, personally I've never known a company to not share theses details seems odd, anyone else think the same

Personally no. I've not won anything major or valuable (I won an audiobook a few years ago) but I wouldn't want my name and perhaps the area I live in announced on a list available to all.
