Sky Stream - Upgrading to HBO Max 4K/UHD

Hi

How do I upgrade the "HBO Max Basic with Ads" to a package where I can get HBO Max 4K/UHD (It's only 2026 after all...)?

Also for TNT Sports I assume having TNT Sports in HBO Max requires the Sky TNT Sports package at £34/month...

I mean £158.,99/month... And still need to pay more to get 4K/UHD... Absolute madness.

Warner Bros Discovery Ltd stockholders would certainly prefer you to be paying more for their product: that's not something under the control of Sky.

I believe the HBO upgrade is accessible through the Sky Marketplace.

You appear to be paying the full list price for those components: if you are outside a minimum contract term then there may be room for negotiation.

Re: Sky Stream - Upgrading to HBO Max 4K/UHD

Well I have tried

Change plan on the My Sky app

  1. Go to the TV section on the My Sky app.
  2. Next to Your products, select Manage.
  3. Select App Subscriptions, then the app you want, and choose your plan before following the onscreen instructions.

I can see a tile HBO Max Premium. Ok I select it.... "Hand tight... We'll be right with you"

Sends me to "Manage your Sky TV" where I can't manage anything...

Absolutely horrendous user experience...
