I've searched the messages and found conflicting answers to my personal experience so I thought I'd ask the experts.
I contacted Sky to ask about reducing my Q to Stream basic and was told NO. It appears others have said they've done it so I'm confused.
I've had to cancel my Q completely and am now waiting for it to finish and I've tried ordering Stream to the same account but computer says NO.
I've had the text saying Goodbye from Q and the packaging has been sent to return my Q box but I'm still unabe to order Stream.
Any ideas or experiences?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@ramsey69 There is no reason why you couldn't of ordered stream over the phone while still in contract, the fact there is now a cancellaton may complicate things somewhat.
You would still need to call to request stream.

There isn't really a basic package on Stream you basically get all the "entertainment" channels + Netflix as the default Stream package, and then you can add on Sky Sports, TNT Sports, Cinema, Kids, UHD and/or ad-skipping as the additional.
Plenty of customers have switched from Q to Glass/Stream though, so there shouldn't be a problem with that.
